a.digby :: digital illustration and animation

since last october, i have been working on the graduation film of my animation degree. it has been a rocky path, but soon i hope to emerge from the other side as gracefully and beautifully as a butterfly, with something i can be proud of under my wing. it is a film about conformity; about peer pressure; about loneliness. it is a film about a man with a gramophone for a head.

in december i began making a film; these are some of the backgrounds. in january, i stopped making that film and began almost from scratch. it was a hard, hard learning curve but perhaps one better experienced now than later.
