it's been too long. busy, busy. a quick catch up!

a while ago now, i did some header work for devon; she has revamped her website so i have done a suitably revamped header for it!

at the moment i am doing some freelance artworking for hogarth worldwide; it's very different to the creative work i've done before, and i'm learning a lot, expanding my knowledge of the adobe creative suite in leaps and bounds.

i've recently taken on a more active marketing role in my retail job, and thought i'd pin up a few posters i've done. i've always been a bit obsessive about branding, so i love working to such tight rules (well, some of the time).

wasn't the new series of sherlock genius? a wee scribble of jim moriarty, by far the best character.

my poor macbook had to go to apple hospital for a few days, but now it is good as new. i drew this dapper demon to make sure everything was still working great.

just trying out something different. i used to love watercolours, and it's interesting to see what kind of watercoloury effect one can achieve with a computer and no paints whatsoever.

just getting in some old-school practise.

ever since i saw it, dreamworks' how to train your dragon has been one of my all-time favourite films. what a perfect and beautiful experience it is to watch. their new christmas short, gift of the night fury, reignited my love for it and made me want to bash out a doodle. even though the films are so loving, i felt like drawing something a little darker.

a little early, perhaps, but i've been busy designing some christmas cards for friends and family this year.
